Air India Flights

About

Air India, known as Tata Airlines, was first established in 1932. In the early 1950s, after the government decided to nationalize air transportation due to the financial difficulties of the airlines in the country, other airlines were merged to form two autonomous institutions. For this reason, the company, which was established as Air India International in 1953, started to provide services abroad. In 1962, the word "international" was removed from the name, and after this date it appeared as LIMITED. It became a member of Star Alliance in 2010.

The airline has a fleet of over 110 aircraft, including wide-body aircraft such as the Boeing 777s and Airbus A320s. It also has an extensive network of codeshare agreements with other airlines, allowing passengers to book flights on multiple airlines with a single booking.
