Currently, there is no direct metro connection to the airport. However, the Namma Metro Blue Line extension is under construction and expected to be operational by mid-2026, connecting Central Silk Board to the airport. Until then, travelers can take the metro to Hebbal or Krishnarajapuram and continue by taxi or bus.

Kempegowda Airport offers multiple parking zones for both short-term and long-term stays. Parking areas P1 and P2 are located near the terminal, with rates based on duration. Tickets are issued upon entry and payment is made at the exit. Private car use is especially convenient for groups and during late-night departures.

Average fares range from ₹1000 to ₹1200, and the journey typically takes 50 to 60 minutes depending on traffic.

Designated taxi queues are available outside the arrival terminal for arriving passengers. Taxis are a safe option, especially at night, and use a fixed fare system to avoid unexpected charges. Some hotels also offer pre-arranged taxi services for their guests.

App-based ride services like Uber and Ola are commonly used for airport transfers in Bangalore. Fares vary based on time, traffic, and vehicle type, typically ranging from ₹1000 to ₹1800. The apps also provide real-time travel estimates, which help with planning.

Designated pickup zones for Uber and Ola are located near the terminal. Once a ride is booked, the app provides navigation instructions for both the passenger and driver. Surge pricing may apply during peak hours. These services are also widely used for return trips from the airport to the city.

Taking a bus is the most economical way to travel from the airport to Port Louis. Buses departing from SSR Airport typically head towards Mahébourg and then continue to Port Louis via Curepipe. The journey may take between 1.5 to 2 hours, and the fare is around MUR 50.

Buses operate during daytime hours only and do not offer night services. They depart from the stop near Terminal 2 and are operated by the Mauritius Bus Services. Tickets are paid in cash upon boarding, but travelers with large luggage may find this option less comfortable.

Yugo’s pricing is generally similar to that of taxis and provides the benefit of fare transparency. It is possible to use the app for rides from the airport to Port Louis, although availability may vary during peak times.
