AJet, once known as AnadoluJet until March 2024, is a low-cost airline. It is a part of Turkish Airlines and began operations in 2008, initially serving domestic routes within Turkey. Over time, it expanded to include destinations in Northern Cyprus, Western Europe, and Western Asia.

In March 2020, the Anadolujet was expanded to cover Turkish Airlines' global routes from Istanbul, adding over 20 new routes. By February 2023, Turkish Airlines decided to make AnadoluJet an independent airline and rebranded it as AJet. Despite this, AJet remains fully owned by Turkish Airlines.

AJet is recognized for being affordable, convenient, and reliable, offering flights to many destinations within Turkey and around the world. As of May 2024, AJet's fleet consists of 84 aircraft, including models such as the Airbus A320-200, Airbus A320neo, Airbus A321-200, Airbus A321neo, Boeing 737-800, and Boeing 737 MAX 8.

AJet provides various travel packages to meet different needs. For domestic flights and flights to Northern Cyprus, they offer Basic, Flex, and Premium packages. For international flights, they offer Basic, EcoJet, Flex, and Premium packages. Each package includes different baggage allowances, seat selection options, and catering services. For example, Premium packages offer free seat selection and up to 25 kg of checked baggage. These features allow AJet to cater to a wide range of passengers while maintaining its standard as a low-cost airline.

AJet Airlines offers various check-in options to its passengers. Free check-in processes begin 24 hours before the flight, and passengers can save time by checking in online.

At the airport, check-in procedures end 45 minutes before departure for domestic flights and 60 minutes before for international flights. AJet recommends that passengers use kiosks for their check-in processes. Passengers must have received their boarding passes and completed their baggage procedures at least 45 minutes before flight time for domestic flights and 60 minutes for international flights.

Self Check-in

AJet Airlines also provides a self check-in service. With this service, passengers can complete check-in procedures for themselves and other passengers under the same reservation, select paid seats, obtain baggage tags, and pay for excess baggage if necessary. Passengers traveling without baggage can also perform return check-in if they have a same-day return flight.

Self check-in service is available at Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen, Ankara, Antalya, Izmir, and Ercan airports. This service can be used through simple menus on touch-screen devices. Passengers can complete their transactions by entering information such as their ID number, electronic ticket number, or reservation code.

Hand luggage

Ajet passengers' hand baggage allowance varies depending on the flight class. In Basic, Flex and Premium classes, the cabin baggage allowance is 8 kg. This 8 kg limit also includes personal items.

Registered Baggage

Ajet's free baggage allowance on domestic and Northern Cyprus flights is 15 kg. In Flex and Premium classes, this is 20 kg, 25 kg. On international flights, it is 0 kg for basic flight type, 20 kg for EcoJet, 20 kg for Flex, and 25 kg for Premium flight type . Babies have a baggage allowance of up to 10 kg on Ajet flights.

Special Luggage

There is an additional fee for passengers'  special baggage such as Ajet Sports Equipment . 300 TL for domestic flights and 40 Euros for international flights.

Ajet Airlines offers seat selection options for both domestic and international flights. Passengers can choose from standard seats (window, middle, aisle) or seats with extra legroom in emergency exit rows. This service can be purchased before the flight and aims to enhance passengers' travel comfort. To select a seat, passengers need to use their reservation code (PNR) and surname.

Seat Selection Fees

Ajet's seat selection fees vary depending on the flight route and seat type. For domestic flights and flights to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, seat fees range from 55.00 ₺ to 350.00 ₺. For other international flights, fees range from $9.00 to $26.00. These fees are applicable from the time of ticketing until the end of the check-in period. However, if the flight package included in the purchased ticket offers free seat selection, these fees will not apply.

The airline provides a selection of movies, TV shows, music, and games to ensure passengers remain entertained throughout their flight. These options are accessible via personal devices through the airline's app, which passengers are encouraged to download before boarding. For those who prefer physical screens, some aircraft are equipped with seatback screens, offering a similar array of entertainment choices.

AJet allows pets on their flights for an additional fee, which must be paid at the airport. To travel with your pet, you must ensure they have a valid vaccination and health certificate, as well as any required entry permits and other necessary documents as per the destination country's regulations. Reservations for pets must be made and confirmed through the call center at least 6 hours before the flight. Only cats, dogs, and small songbirds are allowed in the cabin, with limited slots depending on the aircraft type. Pets in the cabin must be kept in their carriers under the seat in front of you. The carrier should be within the dimensions of 23cm x 30cm x 40cm and the total weight, including the pet, should not exceed 8 kg.

For larger pets or if the carrier exceeds the cabin size limits, pets must travel in the cargo compartment in sturdy, secure containers. Pets must be clean, odorless, and calm, and any aggressive or unhealthy animals will not be accepted. Certain breeds with respiratory issues, such as Pugs and Bulldogs, are permitted in the cabin only if they meet the size and weight requirements. Service animals are allowed to travel with their owners in the cabin free of charge, provided they are trained and certified, and all necessary documents are presented.
