Each piece of checked baggage must not exceed the size of 203 cm in the sum of three dimensions and not more than 100 cm on each side.

Special Luggage

Ural Airlines has specific rules and fees for carrying special luggage items. Here are some examples:

Musical Instruments: Small instruments may be carried as (instead of) carry-on baggage (maximum 5 kg and 115 cm, 135 cm for guitars). Transportation in this case is free of charge. Musical instruments carried as checked baggage are not included in the free checked baggage allowance and are charged additionally. When transporting an instrument in a separate passenger seat, subject to the purchase of the service, the total weight of luggage in the cabin must not exceed 80 kg, and its dimensions must not exceed 120x75x45 cm.

Sports Equipment: Transportation of the first set of skiing, alpine skiing, hockey equipment, surfboards, snowboards, fishing equipment, golf equipment, and bicycles up to 23 kg and not exceeding 203 cm in three dimensions is free of charge for all tariff groups except for the Promo tariff group.

Passengers with Wings program silver or gold cards can select seats for free, as can passengers with Premium Economy tickets.

Ural Airlines has a loyalty program called Wings. Passengers can earn miles for their flights with Ural Airlines and its partner airlines. The earned miles can then be used to get discounts on future flights, upgrade the class of service, or purchase additional services.

There are three tiers in the Wings program - Blue, Silver, and Gold. Passengers can become a Blue member by simply signing up for the program. To reach Silver status, passengers need to earn 25,000 miles or fly 20 segments within a calendar year, while Gold status requires 50,000 miles or 40 segments.

Benefits of the Wings program include priority check-in, extra baggage allowance, access to business lounges, and priority boarding. Silver and Gold members also earn bonus miles and have access to additional services such as free seat selection and free changes to their tickets.

Ural Airlines, along with several other Russian airlines operating charter flights for tour operators, have canceled on-board meals for flights up to 5 hours since July 1, 2019. This decision was made as a part of a new low-cost service model that provides a minimum range of services on board. Passengers who plan to travel with a pet on Ural Airlines must inform the airline beforehand and receive confirmation of consent to transportation. Additionally, pets must have a veterinary certificate. Small cats, birds (canary or parrot), or dogs weighing up to 8 kg, including the transportation container, can be taken into the cabin with the passenger as long as the container size does not exceed 45*35*25 cm. However, this service requires payment:

• For CIS flights, the cost is 45 euros.
• For flights to non-CIS countries, the cost is 70 euros.

Guide dogs can travel in the cabin for free.

If the pet weighs more than 8 kg, including the transportation container, it must be transported in the luggage compartment. However, Ural Airlines does not transport animals in luggage compartments on all types of aircraft, so passengers must first obtain permission from the airline and then make payment.

Ural Airlines has several lounges available for passengers to use at select airports.The lounges offer a range of amenities, such as a buffet, free Wi-Fi, meeting rooms, comfortable chairs, showers, and children's play areas.
